Abstract

Electronic information resources are invaluable assets in higher education, yet awareness of these resources among students and academics in many Nigerian universities seems to be low. The paper sought to find out the various tools which Festus Aghagbo Nwako Digital Library (FANDL) uses to market E-resources and the limiting factors. The respondents were 60 library users (students, lecturers, and researchers) selected through simple random sampling. The instruments used were questionnaire, oral interview,s and observation checklists. The study revealed that the major tools used for marketing E-Resources in FANDLare social media, seminars and workshops. The study recommended the formulation of a written policy for marketing EIRs and the provision of sufficient funds.
